It has been great to visit the oldest surviving railway in the world, on the Victorian Easter event with Tanfield Railway!
We have met lots of different people who came to see the trains; chatted to different Victorians; met stationmasters, firemen & guards; enjoyed the sun, snow; and even had a ride in the guard’s compartment.
In our photos and videos
We have Bobbie the Barn Owl training to be a guard, on a exclusive train ride just for Bobbie!
